As the leader of our Sydney Transport Modelling team, Jackie delivers small- to large-scale infrastructure projects for both government and private development clients. His role primarily involves using digital models to test new transport infrastructure from a traffic perspective, the findings of which can contribute to business cases and ensure new infrastructure is benefiting the community.
Jackie and his team deliver network assessments (using microsimulation in Aimsun or Vissum) and intersection assessment using Sidra Intersection. He enjoys using his own two hands to build digital models that show the potential risks and benefits of new infrastructure and how it will impact the community. This allows clients to make sound planning decisions for their new infrastructure—before any ground is broken.
