Centennial Park Sporting Precinct Upgrade
The Centennial Park Sporting Precinct is a multipurpose community facility, comprised of a major regional sporting hub and event venue. It provides a dedicated space for most outdoor and indoor sports and recreation activities in Albany and offers a central gathering point for the local community.
Through a competitive tender process, the City of Albany appointed us to provide engineering services across the civil, electrical, sustainability, hydraulic, mechanical, acoustic, structural, and underground power disciplines. This included delivering schematic design, design development, documentation, and construction phases.
Our work contributed towards the delivery of flexible, multi-use facilities, upgraded sporting fields, new and upgraded carparks, lighting, and pathways. We also helped develop an integrated infrastructure and shared space and upgraded infrastructure to cater for future demand.
Today, the upgraded precinct provides some of the best sporting infrastructure in the Great Southern region, benefiting volunteers, players, spectators, and boosting the local economy by providing jobs for local contractors and suppliers.
