Utilities Engineering
Connecting communities through smart utilities
Detecting and verifying underground utility infrastructure is a common challenge. Understanding utility asset locations, identifying responsible agencies, and planning for their treatment are integral steps. Our job? Successfully managing these challenges to help you?reduce project risks, costs, and duration.
Essential infrastructure components¡ªsuch as water, sewage, electricity, and telecommunications¡ªmust be?strategically planned and efficiently integrated?throughout the development process.
If you¡¯re looking for?innovative, sustainable, and reliable utilities solutions, we commit to delivering solutions?that enhance the?livability, functionality, and long-term success?of infrastructure projects. We can oversee the entire project lifecycle¡ªfrom investigations in high-risk environments to planning, design, approvals, construction, and 3D as-built surveys for handover.
What sets us apart? Our?strong relationships with technical stakeholders and utility providers, our drive for innovation, and our collaborative approach. Let¡¯s push for excellence on every project together.
Empowering Brisbane: Supporting the future Brisbane Metro
Two new metro lines are set to enhance Brisbane transport by connecting the city to suburbs. Our role? We developed a comprehensive utility mitigation strategy, which included utility coordination and a 3D utilities model for congested sites. As the lead designer for the North East Link early works package, we managed the detailed design, construction support, and environmental services. An early works package was delivered prior to the main package, including utilities relocations for services affected by the proposed alignment. Using industry-leading technology in utility detection and digital engineering enablement, our contribution in the early works paved the way for major construction on the road infrastructure. As part of the Nowra Bridge utilities design and coordination, we relocated numerous utilities¡ªboth above and below ground. Leveraging 3D modeling technology, we integrated design utilities, existing utilities, and future provisions into the project¡¯s federated model. This enabled thorough space proofing and clash checking throughout the project lifecycle, crucial for informed construction staging decisions. Read MoreOur People
