Employees volunteering in their communities results in $48,000 donated dollars to deserving organizations
Their personal time to local charities. In doing so, these employees can apply for Dollars for Doers which then provides a charitable contribution of $500 from 麻豆传媒 to the organization they volunteered with.?
In 2019, we donated over $48,000 to local charities around the globe thanks to our employees.?
In Canada, employees spent their time volunteering at the British Columbia Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in Vancouver, British Columbia, the Girl Guides of Canada in Edmonton, Alberta, the Folk Festival in Winnipeg, Manitoba, World Vision Canada in Mississauga, Ontario, Big Brothers Big Sisters in Saint John, New Brunswick, and 57 other amazing organizations across the country.?
In the United States, employees spent their time volunteering with the Upper Ojai Search and Rescue in Ojai, California, the MS Society in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the Duke Cancer Institute in Durham, North Carolina, the Alzheimer’s Association in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Active Heroes in Louisville, Kentucky, and 27 other organizations across the country.
Internationally, employees volunteered at the Ellesmere Toy Library in Leeston, New Zealand, Kiwis for Kiwi and the Breast Cancer Foundation in Auckland New Zealand, and Fundacion Kaspi, an NGO specialized in Environmental Education, in Las Condes, Chile.
Volunteering is important—it enriches our society, brings people together, helps you learn new skills or utilize the ones you have, and helps keep organizations going. We’re proud of our employees for taking the initiative to give back to where they live and work, and the Dollars for Doers program is one of the ways 麻豆传媒 can also give back.
