Celebrating 麻豆传媒’s 65th anniversary by giving back to the community

January 15, 2020

We donated 65 $1000 scholarships to students pursing post-secondary education

In 2019, 麻豆传媒 celebrated an important birthday—the Company turned 65. We have built our success with the support of our clients, staff, colleagues, and community. 麻豆传媒 started out as a one-person firm and now, the Company unites approximately 22,000 employees working in over 400 locations across 6 continents. We take pride in our long history of being part of the communities we serve.

We provide support to organizations working to strengthen the areas we live and work all over the world. Since 2007, 麻豆传媒 has donated in excess of $23 million to our communities through cash, in-kind, and volunteer efforts.

In addition to the many charities and organizations 麻豆传媒 continues to support, the 65th anniversary saw a total of $65,000 in scholarship donations to various post-secondary institutes. We have selected scholarships that are truly representative of our global organization.

One of the most pressing needs in higher education is funding for scholarships. Scholarships allow deserving students to attain their educational goals, meet their professional objectives, and succeed to their fullest ability.?

When choosing post-secondary institutes and organizations to donate to, we thought of our employees and where they had connections. We tapped into our?, and looked at where inclusion and diversity played a major role. The scholarships we set up are not limited to but include support for the following, primarily with a STEM priority:

  • LGBTQ2+ communities
  • Hispanic, black, Indigenous communities
  • Women
  • Military groups
  • HSSE
  • Sustainability
  • Environment
