Giving back to our communities this holiday season

December 12, 2022

Â鶹´«Ã½ employees choose where to direct our annual donation

Twelve years ago, Â鶹´«Ã½ started donating $50,000 to non-profit organizations every December during our annual holiday campaign. Last year, we bumped the donation up to $100,000. This year? We¡¯re doing it again to help our communities where we work and live become strong, vibrant, and inclusive.

Our collective efforts as a company have aided in the creation, support, and strengthening of our communities. We've donated just over $769,000 through this campaign since 2010.

Two years ago, we introduced a voting system for employees to indicate the organizations they wanted to see Â鶹´«Ã½ support, which resulted in donations going to Feeding America, Food Bank Canada, The Trussell Trust, National Alliance on Mental Illness, Canadian Mental Health Association, Beyond Blue, and Habitat for Humanity. We asked for input from our employees again this year, and this time we included organizations addressing food insecurity, affordable housing, mental health, and the full spectrum of sustainability¡ªenvironmental, social, and governance:
