The energy transition is about more than just renewables

November 14, 2024

The energy transition is about more than just renewables like solar, wind, and hydropower. We must modernize our grids and design the electrical infrastructure to deliver renewable energy to communities in need. We must reduce the carbon footprint of our existing oil and gas infrastructure with carbon capture technologies and emissions-abatement strategies. And we must continue to produce alternative fuels like hydrogen that can help us reach our net zero goals while generating reliable energy.

Our teams are optimistic about the future and our role in driving the energy transition. It will take a lot of planning and significant investment. But with the right team of integrated experts, we can decarbonize our energy infrastructure and leave a cleaner planet for future generations.
