Urban Mobility
Complete solutions for safe multimodal travel
Our Urban Mobility team has a long and trusted history of tackling complicated transportation issues in municipalities across the country. Our focus? Developing mobility networks that support community goals including more equitable, accessible, and inviting conditions for improved or new land uses, future development, and a more vibrant economy.
Every week brings more changes and more choices in transportation technology and systems. Through all the upheaval, we stay focused on two goals. First, ensuring that these expanded options continue to support big picture objectives¡ªand second, planning for new technologies to complement existing networks.
In practice, our approach means creating a street design or plan that weaves different networks into a truly multimodal system. This may mean managing parking to raise efficiency, lower environmental impacts, or jump-start new development. It may also mean preparing a building or a district for the design and development opportunities that autonomous travel will bring.
Our collaborative approach helps communities select the best mobility options for their unique needs and helps ensure that their choices can be intelligently expanded for their future needs.

Mobility is not about moving vehicles. It¡¯s about giving all people better access to their daily needs in a smart, equitable and efficient manner. Whether by car, bus, bike, scooter or on foot, multi-modal travel is our passion.
