Located in Chicago’s iconic Willis Tower (still referred to by many as Sears Tower) this office is our national center for Buildings Engineering in the United States—it serves as the hub for over 800 professionals across the country.
We have a history of innovation and collaboration. Working in a world-famous landmark connects us to the past while looking toward the future. Our space is designed as a living lab showcasing the latest trends in technology and sustainability. The breathtaking panoramic views provide opportunities to reflect on the many structures our engineers have had a hand in building or improving starting with our first client, the Chicago Board of Trade. That project resulted in the first high-rise in Chicago to incorporate high-voltage risers—reducing construction costs while providing electricity crucial to the business.
End-users, architects, real estate services firms, and building owners have contributed to our success through the years by engaging in collaborative relationships to develop some of the world’s most exciting places. Whether a client’s needs are based on bringing an idea to realization, upgrading a space’s infrastructure, or repurposing an architectural icon, our relationships are always key to our success.
