A deep interest in science and engineering led Farooq to the career he enjoys today. With over 35 years of experience in resource management, business development, and client liaison, he specializes in site development and servicing as well as stormwater management. He coordinates all aspects of project management and design from the planning stage through to construction.
Farooq has worked with municipalities, provincial departments, and regulatory agencies for urban and rural residential sites and commercial and industrial office development projects. Currently, he focuses on delivery for infrastructure projects as a technical advisor for quality assurance and quality control. He is Ministry of Transportation, Ontario Registry, Appraisal and Qualification System (RAQS) approved and has been involved in numerous highway drainage evaluation and improvement projects throughout Ontario.
When he’s not sharing his experience in mentoring young engineers, Farooq turns to observing nature for design inspiration.
