David has over 16 years of experience in ecology including research, environmental investigation, permitting, ecosystem restoration, wildlife surveys, and project management—and for more than six years, he served as both the transportation and energy regulatory ecologist for the Kansas Department of Wildlife, and Parks. David helped coordinate state and federal permits, oversaw the fee option program, designed the performance criteria for mitigation sites through his position on the inter-agency review team, and managed reptile and amphibian conservation.
Currently, David manages the ecosystem restoration services out of our Overland Park office, focusing on promoting native pollinator species and maintaining compatible uses of industry space with native vegetative communities. He also manages environmental permitting for wind and solar projects across the Midwest and serves as a subject matter expert at 麻豆传媒 for threatened and endangered species and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers 404 permitting for the central US.
In his spare time, David enjoys introducing his children to the outdoors including hiking, hunting, and fishing.
