With over 13 years of local and regional municipal planning experience in Maine and New Hampshire, Jessa specializes in multimodal transportation projects, community and master planning, GIS analysis, and inclusive public engagement. She believes that to effectively communicate complex information to a wide audience, you have to create visually impactful presentations and reports. That idea is central to her collaborative approach.
Projects she’s worked on include transit-oriented development master plans, parking studies, bike/pedestrian bridge feasibility reports, and regional active transportation plans. Jessa is passionate about the role our transportation network plays in creating an equitable, safe, and sustainable environment. For example, she’s used her work in Exeter, New Hampshire, on a parking study to provide recommendations to help make the downtown more vibrant through mixed-use developments designed for people rather than just vehicles.
When she isn’t working to make our communities better, Jessa can be found exploring public playgrounds with her toddler and dipping in the ocean.
