Dave has more than 27 years of experience in engineering, project, and construction management. He’s led engineering organizations and projects in North America and abroad.
One of Dave’s most influential projects was the Statoil Carbon Capture project in Bergen, Norway. It was the first European work he’d done, and he considers it the job that opened his mind to thinking globally. Working with vendors, contractors, and engineers from all around Europe (and China) changed his perspective—helped him understand how people engineer in other areas of the world.
For the past 15 years, he's coached his three kids on numerous sports teams. Dave says that working with the youngest kids is the most rewarding: he gives them an environment to learn in and finds the tools they need to improve themselves. Most of Dave’s weekends are spent running from one game to the next, but the opportunity to see his kids having fun and maturing is what’s truly priceless.?
