Ellen has more than 25 years of experience in cultural resources management and holds a bachelor of science and master of arts in anthropology, with a particular focus on archaeology.
As a cultural resources practice leader, Ellen meets the Secretary of the Interior’s standards for conducting and supervising all phases of cultural resources management investigations. She’s spent the majority of her career in consulting and helping clients navigate the regulatory requirements of Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). She also regularly represents clients before state and national review agencies. Ellen routinely develops scopes of work and archaeological research designs, manages a wide variety of field-based projects for archaeological and historic architectural investigations, and writes and edits technical reports. ? ?
Ellen lives in the Houston area and has two daughters. Away from work, she likes to spend time with her family and three dogs, garden, and listen to live music of all genres.
