Amanda manages a team of electrical engineers and is a trusted advisor to some of the biggest data center clients in the world. Her responsibilities include electrical design and specification for multi-tenant and hyperscale data centers.
Since 2018, Amanda has served as the professional engineer representative for the City of Chicago Electrical Commission. She works with other representatives of the electrical construction industry to determine best practices and requirements for the City.
Amanda also mentors junior engineers. She believes sharing her knowledge and training leads to new ideas and questions, keeping her up to date on her code references and design skills.
When Amanda isn’t busy designing power systems and enhancing the careers of others, she enjoys watching Kansas basketball. Raised a University of Kansas Jayhawk, Amanda makes a point to go to a game each year, whether it be a home game in Lawrence or following the team around the country to tournament games.
