Leading our intelligent transportation systems (ITS) team within our Transportation group in Toronto, Robert has extensive experience in the budgeting, planning, design, implementation, operation, and maintenance of the COMPASS system for the Ministry of Transportation Ontario (MTO).
Known for his fair approach, Robert has the proven ability to lead a highly technical team to successfully design, deploy, and manage ITS contracts. He possesses excellent management, negotiation, leadership, and public relations skills and brings over 35 years of experience working with the MTO. Robert has a talent for analyzing problems, developing, and simplifying procedures and finding innovative solutions—he’s committed to the highest levels of professional and personal excellence and making sure the communities we work in get true value from our projects.
Away from his desk, Robert’s interests include playing pickleball, cycling, walking his dog, volunteering at the local foodbank, and being involved with his church.
