Cameron draws from a wide ranging creative and technical background to produce high quality drawings and designs. He has nearly 20 years of design and architecture experience, striving to create experiences that build community. He’s applied his craft to designing zoos, schools, retail spaces, and experiential and tradeshow exhibits.
Using building information modeling (BIM), 3D CAD and modeling, visual arts, and graphic design software, Cameron presents clear, expressive designs from concept to construction. One of his favorite challenges was designing a sea lion exhibit with water-tight gateways between pools and buildings, providing flexible ways for the animals and keepers to move between the spaces.
When he isn’t designing enriching spaces for animals and humans, Cameron pursues an eclectic mix of hobbies. You can often find him painting intricate 3D-printed models, woodworking, cooking global cuisines, sewing, embroidering, or playing Japanese Taiko drums with his wife. He also enjoys welcoming nature into his backyard with feeders and birdhouses aplenty.
