With over 30 years in the industry, Mike is a principal leading our landscape architecture team in the Greater Toronto Area. He specializes on the design of the public realm targeting streetscapes, parks, trails and public spaces.
On each project, Mike seeks meaning in his design that relates to the specific site’s context. An understanding of the site’s cultural and natural heritage, environmentally sensitivities and reinforcing a sense of place are key aspects of his approach. Mike is most proud when clients feel that the finished product goes beyond their expectations and where the community is enriched by an inspiring space they can enjoy, that is functional, layered with meaning and aesthetically pleasing.
Outside of work, Mike continues his creativity through art (painting) and as a guitarist. He also enjoys cycling and walking the trails in his city.
