As an engineer in training for civil and environmental engineering, Jamie mainly manages water and wastewater infrastructure projects as well as asset management. She also helps the planning group with community engagement and facilitation.
Partnered with the Selkirk First Nation in Pelly Crossing, Yukon, Jamie has been part of the planning phases and detailed design of a new subdivision, work on a piped water expansion through an existing subdivision, and upgrades and repairs to local water treatment. Jamie and her team have also spent a lot of time in the community, developing relationships through housing fairs, housing design workshops, site visits, and attending their annual general assembly.
When she isn’t at work, Jamie spends as much time as she can enjoying the outdoors. She’s an explorer—whether that’s by hiking or with an all-terrain vehicle in the Yukon or traveling to new countries and experiencing new cultures.
