Principal, Buildings

Photo of Cindy

Since childhood, Cindy knew she wanted to become an architect.?With a deep curiosity about what “home” means to different people, she started sketching house designs when she was still in middle school. Over the course of two decades in the profession, she is still driven by how design solutions impact every-day living.?Today, her approach is rooted in the belief that it is all connected. To have thriving communities, we need healthy work places designed to bring out the best in each employee; a variety of housing options to provide shelter for all; and integrated “third place” opportunities to hang out, socialize, and build community.?And, of course, sustainable infrastructure is the essential glue to stitch it all together.

A fan of history and a self-described “what-iffer” regarding the future, Cindy has a special affinity for adaptive re-use projects where yesterday and tomorrow merge. She is energized by the exploration of new and evolving technologies, innovative design trends, and adaptive real estate models that re-imagine traditional brick and mortar concepts.

Outside the office, Cindy is an avid traveler and scuba diver. Whether exploring the Colosseum in Rome or sunken WWII ships in the South Pacific, she enjoys experiencing different cultures, meeting new people, and seeing different parts of the world.
