Jason is a hydrogeologist with decades of experience in water supply and environmental consulting across a broad range of sectors and clients—state and local governments, agricultural entities, industry and manufacturing, and developers. He has experience in water supply source development and permitting, aquifer testing and groundwater modeling, water withdrawal permitting, well siting, and development of water conservation and management plans. He also provides technical input on groundwater remediation projects.
Always with an eye to managing our precious groundwater resources, Jason has been part of several Virginia initiatives. These include using the Department of Environmental Quality’s VAHydroGW model to simulate artificial recharge and groundwater withdrawals and participating in the Eastern Virginia Groundwater Management Advisory Committee.
Away from water related efforts, Jason enjoys hiking in the Appalachian Mountains and collecting fossils and minerals from around the United States.
