Chris is an electrical engineer with 12 years of experience specializing in the design, construction, and redevelopment of hydroelectric powerhouses, dams and spillways, navigation & locks, conveyance systems, headworks, and outlet works facilities. He has been involved in many aspects of generating equipment and electrical systems on a variety of hydroelectric power plants and water resources projects.

Having been involved in a large range of projects in terms of complexity and scale, Chris started his career on the largest construction project in the world at the time—the Panama Canal Third Set of Locks. Recently, he completed the electrical design of a 21 MW powerhouse in Portland, Oregon. The Faraday Repower project replaced an existing 18 MW 5-unit, horizontal Francis powerhouse from 1908 with a new 21 MW 2-unit, vertical Kaplan powerhouse.

When not working, Chris can be found outside, mountain biking, hiking, and skiing.
