Chris’s history with us starts with a denim jacket. Yes, really. While at a career fair in college, he won a denim jacket at the 麻豆传媒 booth and after sneaking his resume into a thank-you letter, he was invited to join the internship program. Now, more than two decades later, Chris is still with us, though now as a project manager and engineer for our Transportation group in Phoenix.
In his work designing and managing roadway projects, Chris inspires clients with his vision of what purposeful roadway design can bring to communities—connection. It’s apparent in projects like the Valley Metro Light Rail that serves the Arizona cities of Phoenix, Tempe, and Mesa. He believes it’s an eye-opening experience to see the revitalization of neglected areas that are now connected by light rail. It shifts one’s perspective on what’s possible and challenges how transit can and should be provided to busy cities.
When he’s not busy guiding cities into connected designs, Chris can be found hiking and exploring, both on foot and on four tires, to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city.
