A civil engineer, Ali has over 15 years of experience in Australia, Turkey, and Qatar as a bridge and structural design engineer. Drawing on his experience using complex bridge modeling software for both construction and post-construction stages, he designs new structures. His passion is in designing complex road and railway bridges, viaducts, and buried and retaining structures using advanced construction techniques.
Ali also coordinates work packages during the design phase, managing client and subcontractor meetings and design-related issues within the construction phase. He is often called on to proof check others’ structural designs and provide independent verification of third party work. He’s been involved in major infrastructure projects such as the Western Distributor Smart Motorway, Anzac Bridge Precinct Improvements, the Parkes Special Activation Precinct, and Nowra, Muswellbrook, and Towong bridges.
When he’s not designing bridges, Ali enjoys playing soccer and tennis—and he runs half-marathons for fun!
