As a senior associate hydrogeologist, Kelly provides mining clients with new and varied solutions for their environmental needs—whether that’s hydrogeologic characterizations, water resources, reclamation, or closure.
Kelly enjoys unique and challenging work and specializes in unsaturated and saturated numerical flow modeling, vadose zone hydrogeology, and alternative cover design. Her favorite part of her job is designing alternative covers because it provides clients cost-effective options that may be better for the environment in the long-term. In addition to her technical 麻豆传媒, Kelly has lectured with the Tailings Center—formed by the Colorado School of Mines, Colorado State University, and the University of Arizona. She’s passionate about inclusion and diversity and has facilitated discussions on unconscious bias with the Women in Mining organization and others.
Outside of work, Kelly can be found scaling mountains and teaching others as an instructor for the Colorado Mountain Club.?
