Carrie has spent most of her career in healthcare planning and design. She is known for working particularly well with user groups and is excellent at coordinating the architecture and engineering disciplines.
From working with user groups, Carrie has gained a solid understanding of the “business” conducted in healthcare facilities. This knowledge, coupled with her creative design solutions and project management skills, produces effective solutions to the challenges presented by healthcare projects. Carrie’s favorite aspect of her job is working with passionate co-workers to help clients achieve incredible goals. A notable project of hers was the emergency department (ED) expansion for UPMC East—following incredible patient growth, Carrie and the team offered solutions to keep a patient-focus on doubling the size of the ED in a way that also accommodates future growth.
Outside of work, Carrie enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her family.
