A structural engineer, Emily has more than 15 years of structural design experience in bridges and transit infrastructure. She’s passionate about transportation—because she can directly impact and enrich people’s lives with her thoughtful work.
For the past five years, she’s been an integral part of our design team for the Chicago Transit Authority—the second-largest transportation system in the United States. In her work on the Red and Purple Line modernization project, she’s taken on many roles, including deputy lead designer, structural discipline lead, non-right of way (ROW) discipline lead, and deputy structural discipline lead. Currently, she’s serving as the lead designer.
Away from her work on the Red and Purple line, Emily enjoys reading, traveling, and visiting her family.
