For Amelia, constraints are synonymous with opportunities. With almost 20 years of experience, she designs for function and human scale. As a project architect and team lead, she champions projects with strategic guidance, curiosity, and optimism. Recently relocated from our Calgary office to St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, she continues to grow her portfolio of recreation, post-secondary, government, and public service projects. ?

Formerly a project manager and associate director as the owner’s representative for a post-secondary institution, Amelia understands important pressures that owners face—with a collaborative approach, she balances design direction, Indigenous engagement, stakeholder management, and financial tracking. Her accomplishments celebrate her work on large-scale recreation projects such as the Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre and the Cochrane Aquatic Centre and Curling Club. Selected by the City of Calgary, she has provided constructive feedback as a panel member for urban design on various development applications.

Designing environments for health and wellbeing, Amelia defines success through the human experience when inhabiting, operating, and maintaining built space.?
