As a business center practice leader, Matthew serves as a connector across our Environmental Services team in the Pacific Northwest. He supports collaboration, growth, and excellence. Matthew also serves as practice lead for Emergency Management and Community Resilience in the West, where he seeks to expand our services to support thriving communities in the face of shocks—acute events such as earthquakes or floods—and stresses—chronic conditions that make shocks worse such as climate conditions and aging infrastructure.
Matthew aims to provide solutions that are as adaptive as his clients. He’s currently collaborating with clients to reframe traditional emergency management into community operations plans that will foster community ownership of readiness and resilience.
When he isn’t at work, you can find Matthew enjoying all the natural beauty the Pacific Northwest has to offer. He is an avid hiker and loves being out on the trails. At home, he loves playing piano because making music is one of his favorite ways to unwind after a day at work.
