Azure works on the entire scope of a project—from space planning through code studies, design, and detailing. She’s a project manager, designer, and BIM lead modeler. Her career has focused mainly in the healthcare sector encompassing cath labs, surgery suites, cancer centers, senior care, and facility design for visually impaired patients.
Recently, when designing a cath lab suite in a former emergency department, Azure and her team had to contend with a particularly challenging structure. The height of floor to floor was the problem. On the project, she worked closely with the engineers, equipment vendors, and contractor to create solutions and a successful project filled with state-of-the-art equipment.
When she isn’t at work, Azure might be exploring healthy cooking, creating artwork, or spending time outdoors. She enjoys camping, bicycling, and hiking—and she and her husband recently enjoyed a hiking trip in Sedona, Arizona, on their honeymoon.
