As the geospatial lead for our Water group, Courtney supports the design and implementation of complex geospatial solutions for teams across the organization. She works with our GIS (geographic information system) staff as they build custom tools for clients and works with internal leadership to facilitate better workflows. Courtney specializes in dynamic field collection systems and managing large utility asset datasets.
Courtney is a certified FME (Feature Manipulation Engine) specialist and trainer. She enjoys using FME and introducing colleagues to this powerful tool that allows them to manipulate data across platforms and produce cleaner, more intelligent deliverables. Alongside traditional geospatial software like GIS, FME gives users more freedom to automate workflows, creatively analyze information, and manage sizable datasets.
In her free time, you can find Courtney and her husband building with Lego, assembling jigsaw puzzles, or playing board games with friends—their collection has over 300 games to choose from! She also enjoys drawing, hiking, biking, and pretty much any type of crafting project.
