Ben has extensive experience in electrical engineering and the construction, oil and gas, and energy and resources sectors. He also holds dual qualifications as a trade-qualified electrician and electrical engineer. As the EIC (electrical, instrumentation, and controls) team lead for our Energy and Resources group, he leads and mentors a range of designers and engineers to help develop effective solutions that meet client needs.
With a comprehensive technical understanding of systems and processes, Ben currently focuses on the integration of electrical systems for mining projects. He has been directly involved in every aspect of construction, from installation to design and commissioning. His wealth of experience provides a unique perspective on constructability and cost in design.
When he isn’t busy working on electrical engineering projects, Ben likes to keep fit and flexible by practicing Muay Thai. You might also find him hiking in the mountains and backcountry or snowboarding.
