Carrie has more than 25 years of experience in conducting geohazard assessments and geotechnical investigations using near real-time monitoring technologies. She provides practical designs and oversees construction, specializing in geotechnical analysis and remediation of pipelines and roadways affected by landslide geohazards. She relies on a risk management approach during all project phases specific to geohazards and construction risks.
A leader in trenchless engineering, Carrie has completed hundreds of trenchless crossing projects. She’s skilled in feasibility and risk assessments and design and construction of complex crossings using horizontal directional drilling, direct steerable pipe thrusting, microtunneling, pipe jacking, auger bore, and pipe ramming methods.
Carrie conducts risk analysis and risk readiness workshops and produces publications addressing geotechnical aspects of trenchless design and construction. She takes pride in driving quality and innovation, project delivery, and promoting health, safety, security, and the environment for our Canadian geotechnical practice.
