With over 15 years of ecological consultancy experience, Ryan specializes in aquatic ecology. He excels in appropriate and proportionate field survey techniques and design, as well as data analysis, interpretation and technical reporting. As a leading advisor in river ecology, he promotes enhancement of watercourses through development.
Ryan uses sustainable practices and a collaborative approach to engage with communities and other project constituents to deliver projects that put the environment at the heart. Along with leading river restoration projects, he’s also supported clients through water resource management planning and the development of drought plans.
Carrying his commitment to preserving natural habitats into his personal life, Ryan volunteers with his local Rivers Trust. He also enjoys spending time with family and fishing.
