The earliest sewers were designed to carry street runoff away from inhabited areas and into surface waterways (without treatment) as rapidly as possible. Today, stormwater management needs rapid change. We’re refocusing our strategy by capturing and using stormwater as a resource. To encourage this paradigm shift, Ed and his team are working to integrate water resources to optimize water supplies, address water quality, and make our cities more resilient.
As the North America wet weather sector leader, Ed is responsible for strategic planning, business development, project execution, and revenue growth. Aside from being a registered civil engineer and holding many stormwater certifications, Ed is passionate about the stormwater market. Keeping up with trends helps deliver work with integrity and confidence, serve as a trusted advisor, and encourage excellence.
When he isn’t leading our stormwater work or making our communities more resilient through water services, Ed spends his free time with his wife and two daughters. He also might be found ocean kayak fishing or hiking some of North America’s tallest mountains.
