Vannessa is a lighting designer with a background in engineering and a love for problem solving. With more than eight years of experience, she has a diverse portfolio, which includes National Park Service work, animal hospitals, historic restoration, education, office and mixed-use, recreation, and hospitality.
She uses her role as a lighting designer to fuse the art and science of light into holistic, refined designs while overcoming project challenges. Vannessa strategically and artistically places lighting to help inform a sense of space and bring an environment to life. The core of her design philosophy? Personalized solutions. Understanding the goals of the client early on is critical to her, to drive decisions throughout the design and construction phases.
Outside of work, Vannessa enjoys listening to all types of music and spending time with her two dogs and cat.
