Donna is a registered nurse (RN) with a masters in nursing and a fellowship from the Wharton School of Business. She has extensive experience in healthcare clinical management, change management, and healthcare operations, and she has served as senior administration with oversight for operational efficiency, implementation planning, project management, and strategic service alignment.
From her operational readiness project leadership at Mackenzie Vaughan Hospital to her work on the Sinai Health System’s redeveloped facility (which impacted 25 programs and services), Donna has a solid understanding of operational and professional practice environments. A passionate champion for inter-professional practice, quality of care, and patient safety, Donna has a reputation for achieving results that have a positive impact on corporate strategic initiatives and outcomes.
Recognized for her contribution to the industry, Donna has held board-level positions for the Registered Nurses' Association of Ontario and the Nursing Leadership Network of Ontario (NLN.ON). She’s Prosci change management certified, and she has produced numerous publications and presentations. When she isn’t at work, you might find Donna gardening, spending time with her grandsons, shopping, or reading.
