Cariboo Road Recovery Projects

Changing weather patterns have hit the Cariboo particularly hard in recent years, contributing to hundreds of landslides and road washouts in 2020 and 2021. The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure established the Cariboo Road Recovery Projects (CRRP) to restore access at ten sites spanning from Williams Lake to north of Quesnel.

The program, alongside our team as Owner¡¯s Engineer and other external multi-disciplinary teams, is working to restore and establish long-term connections that communities and road users can depend on through a comprehensive and technically-driven process.

The program is repairing, designing, and building transportation infrastructure to provide solutions that are resilient and reliable¡ªit addresses the effects of changing weather patterns and enhance supply chains in the region. Ultimately, this project will strengthen the road network and benefit tens of thousands of people where they work, live and travel.
