Review, assessment, and recommendations to reduce and provide mitigation approaches for greenhouse gas emissions

Coal Mine Operator Natural Gas and Carbon Dioxide Recovery

Our client, a coal mine operator, was looking for a more detailed assessment of the company¡¯s current mining practices. Â鶹´«Ã½ was engaged to help the client with verification of its existing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and to provide strategies that would help reduce the emissions.

To support our client, we created different scenarios focused on either reducing the natural gas and carbon dioxide that is emitted from the mine or finding ways to mitigate the release of these emissions. To provide our client with a comprehensive picture of viable options, we also conducted a review and independent assessment of the existing operational findings.

Our final report of findings and recommendations both verified the existing findings and included GHG emission mitigation approaches that would potentially help our client reduce its mine emissions.
