Creating super-charger stations in a nation-wide network will let electric vehicles go further and reduce emissions

Electric Vehicle Charging Stations, Expanding Infrastructure

Replacing infrastructure is one thing¡ªtransforming it is another. However, as Canada and other nations legislate the adoption of electrically powered vehicles, charging infrastructure must become easily available. In collaboration with a leading global manufacturer of electric vehicles, we¡¯re providing design, engineering and construction services to expand Canada¡¯s charging network. Already we¡¯ve worked on over 100 sites.

Electric vehicle performance has quickly advanced to where their range on a charge can match a combustion engine car on a full tank. However, to fully match the convenience of fossil-fueled vehicles, many more charging stations are needed, and they need to provide a fast-charge.

At each site we are working with utilities, our client, contractors, equipment suppliers and jurisdictions to meet technical requirements, and local regulations and codes, to construct 480-volt fast-charging stations that are easily accessed, easy to use, and above all, safe. We welcome the fast pace of this project: as sales of electric vehicles increase, and the date for phasing out combustion vehicle sales approaches, we¡¯re proud to help keep drivers humming along with electricity. ?
