UTC Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Permitting Service

A series of EHS permits are required to be obtained from government agencies as per local regulatory requirements, prior to a refrigeration equipment manufacturing facility being put into operation in China¡ªwhich is a time- and cost-consuming process.

With in-depth knowledge of the local legal system and familiarity with administrative approval procedures, we assisted our client in performing several assessments, inspections, and evaluations. Our work included environmental impact assessment (EIA), environmental completion acceptance inspection (CAI), occupational disease hazard pre-assessment (ODHA), occupation disease-preventing facility design, occupational disease hazards control effectiveness assessment (ODHCEA), safety pre-assessment (Pre-SA), safety facility design, and safety acceptance assessment (SAA).

On behalf of the client, we reviewed all permit application documents from a technical perspective and communicated with local government agencies during the entire permit application process. We made sure the application process was in compliance with both local regulatory requirements and the client¡¯s internal policies. As the key outcome of this assignment, the client has successfully obtained all required EHS permits. This meant their new manufacturing facility could enter operation quickly and seamlessly in compliance with local regulations.
