Tainan Anping & Yungkang WWTP Water Reuse Plan

Conventional water resources development in Taiwan has been in a saturation state. In response to the impacts of climate change on water resources management in recent years, the government has begun to assess new management strategies, with water reclamation becoming a key strategy.

Tainan Anping and Yungkang are water reclamation plants in the Southern Taiwan Science Park, built to meet the demand for high tech process water every day. Our team was engaged as the prime consultant for plant construction, providing both preliminary and master planning for the facilities. We helped the client conduct target analysis and provided professional services such as feasibility and turnkey benefits assessments, recommended solutions and measures, and timely assistance in solving engineering interface issues. We are now acting as the supervisor of plant construction in progress.

Upon completion, water resources development is expected to decrease, preventing the exhaustion of natural resources. In alleviating this pressure during Tainan’s dry season, the plants are expected to supply 53,000 CMD of reclaimed water. Altogether, this project will contribute to the stabilization of industrial water, industrial development, and economic growth.
