Bay County Joint Land Use Study (JLUS)
Bay County worked with Â鶹´«Ã½ to implement the Naval Support Activity joint land use study. This study was one of the mechanisms to foster collaboration and mitigate existing and anticipated encroachment issues through improved coordination among Bay County, the Naval Support Activity Panama City, the City of Panama City, and the City of Panama City Beach.
Bay County and Â鶹´«Ã½ were responsible for taking the recommendations from the study, working with military leaders and local governments, and implementing them through land development code changes, innovative comprehensive plan amendments, detailed reports, and studies.
