Carter¡¯s Creek Wastewater Treatment Plan Improvements

Over the past 12 years, the City of College Station has partnered with our teams to accomplish several major improvements at their 9.5 million gallons per day (MGD) Carter¡¯s Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant¡ªtheir largest plant.

One of these projects included a complete renovation of the headworks facility including two new travelling bridge grit and grease removal systems as well as a new odor control system. Another project involved the replacement of aging aeration equipment. This included replacing two 300 horsepower (HP) multistage centrifugal blowers with new turbo blowers and replacing a sludge tank air diffuser system. As a result of these previous projects, we¡¯re currently working to replace six 100¨C125 HP multistage centrifugal blowers with new turbo blowers, two aeration basin diffusers systems, and a sludge tank blower and diffuser system.

Altogether, these improvement projects have helped the City of College Station reduce costs and improve the quality of their service to their community over the last decade.?
