Enbridge Energy Southern Access Pipeline
Stantec conducted three years of post-construction monitoring of wetlands and waterways along an extensive pipeline corridor to evaluate compliance with ACOE and WDNR permit conditions. Â鶹´«Ã½'s activities included floristic surveys, soils evaluations, comparison of pre and post-construction wetland boundaries and documentation of observations regarding erosion, subsidence and potential hydrology alterations. Â鶹´«Ã½¡¯s environmental scientists prepared for the client annual reports summarizing methods and results of the monitoring and recommendations for future monitoring. In addition, weekly erosion control monitoring was conducted as required in WDNR permits.
Our Madison office protects our natural resources while serving the needs of the oil and gas industry. By performing these services, we are ensuring the continued health and stability of our natural environments for recently constructed pipeline corridors.
