Northwell Health - Zucker Hillside Hospital Inpatient Psychiatric Pavilion
When Northwell Health came to us to consolidate its Zucker Hillside campus, we offered our project management Â鶹´«Ã½ to help develop a brand new psychiatric inpatient pavilion. The existing psychiatric facilities were spread across the campus, and unifying the department within a single building would greatly enhance the hospital¡¯s ability to provide premium healthcare services.
Our project management team developed and oversaw the schedule and budget in concert with the Northwell facilities department. The project wasn¡¯t without its challenges¡ªan unplanned re-evaluation to prefabricate the entire building prompted a pause in progress, and ultimately, a full project restart. Our team overcame this by providing consistent communication and engaging in constant collaboration with senior leadership.
The resulting 115 bed psychiatric pavilion is a two-story structure with a basement level, and incorporates a pharmacy, electroconvulsive therapy suite, and conference area. The facility is equipped with a 20 bed adolescent wing, two adult units with 19 beds each, and services for a geriatric patient population.?The Pavilion was delivered under budget and is LEED Certified.
