Survey and Engineering Services, MDOT SHA District 3
Since 1999, we have been providing engineering services to Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) District 3 throughout Montgomery and Prince George¡¯s Counties. Building on decades of trust, we¡¯ve completed a variety of tasks for the district office to ensure transportation routes are kept safe for the community.
Some of the tasks completed have included general engineering contract (GEC) support to manage non-federal funded sites for road repairs, project impact review reports to develop concept design and costs for upcoming projects. We¡¯ve also assisted with safety and resurfacing projects to upgrade suburban roadways and completed design projects to add sidewalks and bike lanes¡ªthese safe bike routes will include bike lanes, signing, and pavement markings. This work will result in safer and inclusive access by designing pedestrian features to current ADA criteria. Our task to provide GEC support to the district office included oversite of more than 115 project sites and the six consultants that were developing plans and estimates.
The district office chooses to work with our company because of our ability to provide complete, thorough, detailed plans and reports on a wide range of transportation project in both urban, suburban and rural settings. The result? We¡¯re keeping people safer no matter how they choose to commute.
