Thomas Jefferson University Hospital - 833 Chestnut Street, OB/GYN
Thomas Jefferson University Hospital was looking for a new, flexible space for their Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and they found that space somewhere surprising.
The new site evolved out of an abandoned department store in a convenient and connected downtown Philadelphia location. Bringing their outpatient clinical practices, a small portion of research, and their faculty and administration from the main campus, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital was able to house 80 staff, 18 faculty, 32 residents, and six maternal/fetal medicine fellows.
The practice sees more than 55,000 patients annually.?
