This includes planning, team coordination, risk management, budgets and client communication. Overall, Ali keeps everything project management related on track. He is particularly experienced in managing difficult transport projects.
Ali takes fulfilment in knowing his work directly affects people’s lives and communities. He embraces managing multidisciplinary teams and ensures a seamless project management lifecycle is in place. A good example is his work on the New Zealand Transport Association (NZTA) Speed and Infrastructure Programme (SIP) projects where the team faced resolving numerous issues. Through Ali’s intervention and leadership, timely and budget-conscious projects were delivered.
When not managing projects, Ali enjoys discovering new hiking trails, and going out on day trips with his family.
