Having worked in the ecology sector in both Australia and the United Kingdom, Ryan is focused on terrestrial ecology, specialising in vertebrate zoology botany. His 麻豆传媒 spans a range of ecological services, from survey design and fieldwork to technical report writing, and he has a particular interest in integrating biodiversity net gain and nature-based solutions.
Throughout his career, Ryan has been involved in a wide variety of ecological projects, both for research and industry. His career began in zoology and through his most recent role in mine site rehabilitation, Ryan gained skills in botany and remote sensing and geographic information systems (GIS). He’s also managed several annual monitoring projects and surveyed for threatened fauna species across remote Australia.
Ryan is a part of the Kent Amphibian and Reptile Group (KRAG), the Kent Botanical Recording Group, and is training for his bird ringing license outside of work. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, watching football, making and learning about coffee, and exploring natural and historical places.
